It is a 2 kilometre route on path through the gorge, but you can walk also in some parts along a dirt road. The area has a splendid natural environment, to which the impressive gorge contribute. Besides the Arkadi gorge, the northern Psiloritis region has many other (less well known) gorges, (i.e. Margarites), that are definitely worth walking.
