The Byzantine temple and the ruined nowadays cells show the acme of the Monastery in older years. Higher up the springs of «Krioneritissa» are found, next to an old small church. The images for Kaloethena Monastery are: N'5 - N'10 in the photo gallery bellow. If we continue going up from Kaloeithena on the slope in the south, at a height of about 1.100 m., there is the cave «Tripiti», which used to be a natural «fridge» for the shepherds for the ripering and storage of cheese.
