The quarry has already destroyed portions of the 1920's stone-founded road which was built with unique techniques that are not used today, and it is a major eyesore in the beautiful ravine - indeed the most beautiful parts of the ravine are inaccessible to hikers and nature lovers due to the quarry's operations. There is major public outcry for this ecological disaster and this group aims to strengthen these efforts towards stopping the quarry and restoring the beautiful landscape as much as possible.
