I booked a week's stay at the end of last July and it was a wonderful experience! Thalassa apartments just outside the town of Palekastro, in the far north-east of Crete, are actually 5 villettine row, colored white and turquoise, surrounded by a huge olive grove. I'm in a beautiful location, quiet and nature, where the only noise is the direction of the cicadas. In lontanana you see the sea. The houses are brand new and very very nice. Each has a living room with kitchen and two sofas, one of which can provide two beds, double bedroom, bathroom and veranda with table and chairs. In addition, each source has a small garden to the veranda. Here you can relax really, no stress, no smog, no chaos. Twice a week they clean the apartment and change towels and bed linen. It is really good and also it is in a great location for visiting the east coast of Crete, lovely and uncrowded, with its wonderful sea ... and the beautiful beaches of Itanos, Vai, Zakros and Kato Xerocampos ...! Moreover, the owner Kostas is very present and attentive, very friendly and helpful. In short, a place definitely worth to come back!
