It is a nice beach with pebbles and protected by the north and west winds. The rocly seabed makes it good for snorkelling. The small and newly built harbour for the fischermen in and around Lentas is situated about 5 kilometers to the east of Lentas Village. Some fishing boats, sailboats, excursion boats and small yachts are anchored in the bay.
See the photos and the video from the Naturalist club of Heraklion (www.fysi.gr) from the area of Lendas. We started our walk from Krotos village first by a dirt road and then by path to Trafoulas gorge. From the bottom of the gorge we reached the beach of Trachoulas.
