Anatoli Taverna, Agathias Palekastro... At the end of the road from Sitia to Agathias Village, through stunning mountain scenery is a little piece of Crete as it was in the 80s.

At Anatoli Taverna you enjoy the panoramic view to the Kambos plain and to the well known beaches of Kouremenos and Hiona and you can fall asleep to the sound of the Meltemi wind after a perfect meal of freshly caught and perfectly cooked fish and a carafe of local wine.

The place is perfect for those whose idea of nightlife is counting the stars, and who don't need any special activity other than watching the Cretan landscape.

A short walk (15 min) to the northeast brings you to the long sandy beach of Kouremenos, while to the north you can reach the Palm beach Vai (7km) and the historic Monastery of Toplou less than 10 minutes by car.

150m south from Anatoli Taverna are the Anatoli rooms, owned by the sister of Nektarios, Chrisoula with  five simple-but-comfortable balconied rooms, all with views to the beaches and mountains.
In spring the whole area is rich in wild flowers and there are marvelous walks in the mountains and through hidden beaches and traditional mountain villages.
