At this point you can struggle a bit, but if you persevere and you're quite adept at hiking, you'll quickly find a way to exit the gorge to the impending plateau. The simple alternative is to just get to that point and simply return it back. The total distance from the start to the southern edge of the gorge takes about 2 hours. Once you exit the gorge, you will be at Sfaka plateau (or Monokara plateau), where the residents of Tourloti and Sfaka keep their agricultural and livestock activities. At the southern exit begins a stone path, which goes north and after 1.5 hours walking back to the village of Tourloti. From there you will return via the main asphalt road, where you left your car.
