Velonado village with 20 - 30 houses within a beautiful and unknown valley, is small and quiet, almost hidden on the edges of the mountains. The road from Kali Sikia to Alones and Vilandredo sees very little traffic and the countryside is wild. It belongs to the Lappeon Municipality, by Rethymno area.
