Figous or Fygous gorge is a small but impressive gorge, connected wiith the well known Agia irini Gorge in Sougia, west Crete - Hania region and close to Epanochori village.

Margarites is a village, in Rethimno Prefecture, 15km east of Rethymno Town, well known for its marvelous architecture and the traditional pottery. However, in the wider area of the villages of Margarites, Orthe and Eleftherna appear a series of small, parallel gorges.

Located by Chania Prefecture, in the small, aptly named village of Rokka this gorge is a big departure from Samaria and some of the other's with rougher terrain but it is just as beautiful and has just as much flora and fauna to keep visitors preoccupied.

Spina gorge is a continuation of Kandanos Gorge, in southwest Crete, 50km far from Chania Town and 20km north of Paleochora.

Arkadi gorge is a short hiking trail from Arkadi Monastery to the small and traditional village of Pikris, by Rethymno.

A small but very beautiful and wild gorge in Prasses village area, Chania prefecture, west Crete, with significant altitude differences from the entrance to the exit, due to which the walk in the gorge is sideling enough and takes place among small or bigger rocks and under very impressive precipitous escarpments.

Probably the most interesting gorge in Chania Prefecture in flora is the Sfakian Gorge or Lagko (it is famous as the Gorge of Bartholomew) located between Hora Sfakion coastal village and Imbros village to the north.

Kallikratis gorge is situated eastwards from Chora Sfakion in Chania Prefecture, starting from the mountain village of Kalikratis in Sfakia, at an altitude of 750 m (14 km distant from Imbros village), and you need three hours in order to cross it.

Among the 115 caves and 5 small gorges of the promontory, the small verdant gorge of Katholikou or Avlaki Agiou (‘the saint's way') in Akrotiri peninsula, distinguishes itself in its wild beauty.
