The Kounavi traditional village is situated on the northeast of Archanes, 15km south of Heraklion city. In this area one can find an important Christian temple dedicated to Christ, Saint Nicolas and Saint Demetrios.

Kerásia (Κεράσια in Grek) is 18 km from Heraklion city, close to Venerato village, south by the national road. Kerásia is a small proud Cretan village in Iraklion prefecture, surrounded by the other villages. There are different ideas as to how Kerásia gets it name.

Raftis village is located northeast of Gergeri village, near the road from Heraklion to Mires, Heraklion Prefecture. It is built in a very beautiful place, east of the river Litheon overlooking the plain of Messara.

After 30 min driving from Rethimno town and after a small stop at the new “Potami” dam, you reach the small picturesque village of “Pantanassa”, which is located in the Amari area and west of the Psiloritis Mountains. Here you can meet local people, still enjoying the traditional Cretan way of living and enjoy their hospitality.

The village of Roussospiti is situated above the town of Rethimnon with a marvellous view of the sea and the “Lefka Ori” (White Mountains). Rethymnon is about 70 kilometres from either Chania or Heraklion airport on the National Road.

The Patsos is a small wooded village (30km southeast from Rethimnon on a right exit at Filaki of the Amari Valley - Gerakari road) of the former province of Amari. Now is the Municipal District of Rethymno Sivritou.

The hilly village of Harakas or Charakas is in the County of Asteroussia (Asteroussia Mountains) in the Prefecture of Monofatsi (Messara plain) on an altitude of 310 m., it is 5 km West of Pirgos village and 50 km far from Heraklion Town, on the road to the villages of Peza-Houdetsi-Tefeli-Protoria.

The village of Pretoria is in the Messara plain, County of Asteroussia Monofatsi (Asteroussia Mountains) on the west banks of the river Anapodaris and 4 klm. north west of Pirgos village and 48 km far from Heraklion Town.

The village of Kalyvia is in the County of Asteroussia Monofatsi (east Messara plain), 45 klm. far from Heraklion on the way to Arkalohori - Partira - Drapeti - Kalyvia, 12 klm. North East of Pirgos village.
