Shortly after Koutsounari settlement, 16 km east of Ierapetra and 41km southwest from Sitia, between Elena beach and Agia Fotia beach, there is also a small hidden beach called Pigadi (Well), because of a steep cliff that exists on the west side of the beach.

The name Asprolithos (white stones) derives from the white pebbles which can be found at the beach. Asprolithos beach is a picturesque sand and pebble beach in the southeast coast of Crete in between Kalo Nero (which means “Good Water”) settlement and very close to Goudouras village, 12km east of the tourist resort of Makrigialos and close to the Kapsa Monastery.

Kalami beaches (it is a group of small beaches stretching for about 1 kilometer and parallel to the asphalt road, where other beaches are visible from the street and others not) is located between Kapsa Beach-Monastery and Goudouras Village, 11km east from Makrigialos, very close to Goudouras.

Kalo Nero is a small coastal settlement between Makrigialos and Kapsa Monastery. By taking the road from Lagada Beach to Goudouras , you will reach Kalo Nero beach and several other small coves and beaches which are often deserted and there are no facilities on the beaches.

The South Chrissi beach is located at the south side of Chrisi Island, a relatively small, exotic island, 8 miles or 13km south of Ierapetra city.

About 700m east of South Chrissi beach at Chrissi Island, south of Ierapetra city, you can find another pebble/sand beach which is Mikronisi beach. Oposite the beach and 500m far, you see the Mikronisi island, a rocky islet which covers 11,7 hectares.  The waters around the small island and on to the Mikronisi beach are shallow.

The beach of Koutsouras is situated at a distance of 55 kilometers far from Agios Nikolaos, 35km away from Sitia on the way to Ierapetra, which is seat of the Makris Gialos municipality, at the Southeast and 20 kilometers eastern to Ierapetra, in front of the homonymous village, with some 800 permanent residents. The beach is pebbly and well protected from the north winds.

Livari is a comletely hidden and unknown area between Goudouras and Xerokambos, with a gorge and 2 small beaches. The place has a uniquebeauty totaly far away from any tourist or organized activity! The visitor will enjoy to swim and hike arround. The nature endowed this area with a rare wild beauty, bare rocks and mountains full of herbs and spices.

The Katharades Beach is located in the southern coast of Crete opposite from the island Chrissi where exists the better climate of Mediterranean, It offers pleasant vacations in a beautiful environment, and it abstains 5 km to east from the more southern city of Europe Ierapetra.
