Kellaria or Kelaria is a small mountain village in the east of Sitia region, 30 kilometres from coastal Sitia and just 5 km before the village of Zakros.

Thripti Plateau and Afentis top.  More mountain climbing to go through unpaved road to an old and current mountain retreat, where excellent grape varieties produce equally good raki. Carry on to Afentis peak dominating the area from 1480m, for breathtaking views.

This is one of the most westerly vίllages of the Sitia District towards the border shared with the District of lerapetra. It is about 11 km inland from the main Sitia - lerapetra road, and is reached by a side-road that branches off at the church of Ayios Panteleimonos a little beyond Koutsouras.

You reach Vasiliki village on the 10th km of the road to Pachia Ammos, on a deviation of 1km to the left, on the hill Kefali.

Old-Christian church (ruins) of the 4th to the 6th century on the foundations of an older temple.

A village located about 6.5 kilometres north of Ierapetra on the road from Agios Nikolaos to Ierapetra at 120m.

This village and the surrounding villages are constantly present to the history of Ierapetra, nowadays, participate strongly at the economic and cultural growth of the district.
