The Sfaka gorge (or Koudoumas gorge) is located about one kilometer eastern from the Sfaka settlement in Lassithi Prefecture, East Crete. The access to its entrance is quite easy, since you can see it very clearly from the main road.

The Xeniakou canyon is located by Psoraris river, some km east from the traditional villages of Embaros and Xeniakos. The gorge starts from the small plateaus Parasirta and Erganos, created between the South Lassithi (or Dikti) mountain peaks Virgiomeno, Sarakino, Seli's Cross end Entichtis mountains.

Kritsa Gorge (Greek Φαράγγι Κριτσάς [fa'ragi kri'tsas]) is a narrow gorge not far from the town-village of Kritsa, in Crete, Greece, 9km west of Agios Nikolaos.

The gorge of "Milonas" with small water falls is not easily accessible. The gorge is located 7 km east of Ierapetra city and 12 km west of Makrigialos coastal village. In the middle of the road from the traditional Village of Agios Ioannis towards Schinokapsala, you cross the forest of "Psihro" hamlet with springs, platans, pine and other trees.

Havgas Gorge is an amazing gorge of rare natural beauty, the unique gorge in Lassithi Plateau. Hiking in the gorge is difficult even for experienced climbers. The gorge carries water from Katharo Plateau to Lassithi Plateau. It is located between the peaks of Katharios Lakkos (1197 m) and Kefala (1269 m). Its length is about 3-4 km and in some places the sides rise almost vertically to a great height. You reach the Lassithi plateau from Tzermiado village and Katharo plateau from Kritsa Village.

16km west of Ierapetra is located the traditional village of Mythi or Mithi. In a short distance from the village, the small Sarakina Gorge starts, which ends near the coastal village Mirtos. The length of the canyon reaches 1.5km and its width ranges from 3 to 10 meters, with only a few points exceeding that. The walls reach a height of 150m, making this narrow gorge very impressive. In the gorge, Kryopotamos river is flowing all over the year.

It is the fantastic jungle like gorge Richtis! The amazing gorge of Richtis is located in Lasithi Prefecture, on the north side, between Agios Nikolaos and Sitia. It starts just outside the village Exo Mouliana and ends at the Richtis beach, east of the village of Kalabro.

One dominant feature of the area of Ierapetra, in front of the beautiful village of Vassiliki is the Ha Gorge. It is considered one of the wildest gorges in Crete, a rare morphological phenomenon of nature, probably caused by tectonic earthquake.

Agia Irini gorge: 3.5km - 3 hours walking - Difficult passage - No footpath in the gorge. The gorge is known to the natives, but unknown to the most of the visitors, who pass from Ziros or Xerokambos (the two destinations most known near the gorge).
In fact here we have two different gorges, the north and the south, which they meet just before the seashore.
