Asomatos villageAsomatos is a small village of about 150 permanent citizens and is about 27 km far away from the city of Rethymnon, southern of the Rethymnon county (Plakias - Preveli area) and is at the exit of Koutraliotiko gorge. It belongs to Foinikas Municipal.

Koxare villageThe village of Koxare is 23 km far from Rethymnon and 9 fom Plakias coastal village. It has 401 residents according to the 2001 census. The village lies in one of the most fertile regions of the hinterland. The lush green landscape of the Koxare plain (of olive trees) alternates with the wild and imposing landscape among the Atsipadiana Mountains or the mountains of Kouroupa, on the foot of which the village is built.

Agouseliana The village of Agouseliana lies 24 km south of Rethymnon and on a 350 m altitude between the Kourtaliotiko Gorge and Kotsifou gorge. It is built in a small valley which merges with the plain of Koxare. In the north, there is the hill of Kefala and in the south we see Atsipadiana.

Mountros village Mountros belongs to the Municipality of Fokas. It is 23 km far from Rethymnon on a 280 m altitude and has 216 residents. It is mentioned in all Venetian censuses of the 16th and 17th centuries. In the 1881 and 1900 censuses, it is mentioned in the municipality of Roustika, with approximately 370 residents. Since 1920 it has been mentioned with its own community.
