A small plateau and its village between Handras (or Ziros) plateau to west and Karidi village to north, at 620 m above sea level, 18 kms from Sitia, whose name probably has some connection with ancient Itanos.

The small and unknown plateau is located at an altitude of 950m, between Limnakaro Plateau and Embaros Village at the southwest slopes of the Dikti mountains in Lassithi Prefecture. The origin of the name derives from the ancient city Ergano whicht was built on the hill next (south) to the plateau.

The Vromonero Plateau is located at an altitude of 1260m, 11km west of the village Kroussonas, Heraklion Prefecture and east of the summit of Psiloritis Mountain.

The plateau Livadi, at a height of 1,020 meters, covers a surface of 1,000 hectares. It is located 10km west of the village Kroussonas, Heraklion Prefecture and 37km southwest of Heraklion Town, on the eastern slopes of Psiloritis Mountain.

This area is located on Asteroussia Mountains at an altitude of 580 meters above sea level, South Messara plain. In fact this area is consisted of two small plateaus, with a distance of 2 kms between them: The Paranimfi Plateau and Mournia Plateau.

Vothonas is a picturescue, hidden in the north White Mountains (Lefka Ori), plateau located 42km from Chania city, near to the village Tzitzifes and Vafes. It can be accessed from both villages by a passable dirt road.
