Vatalos is a relatively big and quiet sandy beach close to Fragokastelo beach and between Sfakia and Frangokastello, south west Crete.

The beach of Sougia is 1,2 km long and is the longest beach in the South-West of Crete. Although it is a pebble beach, these vary a lot in size and there are plenty of places where they are very small, more like coarse sand and it is not at all uncomfortable to lie on them.

Arina Beach - Kokkini Hani (Vathianos Kambos) famous Sector Beach is a main attraction for locals and tourists to use this golden long sandy beach, which have life guards on duty.

Some 29 kilometres far from Heraklion City at the East, eastern to the holidays village of Hersonissos or Limenas Hersonissou are situated these coves with sandy beaches, open to the Cretan Sea and affected by the northern winds.

It is an isolated beach 30 kms west from Heraklion city and 60 kms east from Rethymno and only 1 km shore distance west from Fodele beach. There are actually two beaches separated by a small hill.

The municipal beach 'Potamos' is situated 41 km east of Heraklion City and is the most popular beach of the Municipality of Malia and one of the nicest of the north coast of Crete.

Malia Tropical Beach is situated on a sandy bay of a resort area, only 1,5 Kms from the town of Malia city, 39 km east of Heraklion City.and very close to the archaeological Minoan Palace of Malia.

Agios Ioannis beach is located 6 km northwest from Karave port-settlement in Gavdos Island and 3,5 km far from Sarakiniko beach. This is on the north side of Gavdos, facing Crete. Board the community bus from the tiny port to Agios Ioannis (roughly once every hour).

Potamos is a beautiful beach in the north west part of the island of Gavdos and 6km west of the port of Karave and 2km south from Pirgos beach. It is a sandy beach with yellow and nicely colored red sand.
