Tsoutsouros is the heaven in the municipality of Arkalohori to the south of Heraklion prefecture. An unexpectedly picturesque and exquisite place with sparklingly clean sea and a number of nice sandy beaches. The vilage is located 65 km from Iraklion and 12km west from Keratokambos on the south coast of Crete.

Pourgonero beach lies in the west edge (1km distance from Tsoutsouros on the way to Keratokampos) of the cove of Tsoutsouros. The distance from Heraklion city is 709km.

The beach is located on the southern coast of Asterousia mountains, in Heraklion prefecture and 68 km far from Heraklion city. The area is only accessible by boat and the beauty is indescribable.

This remote beach is in a rugged area about 2 km west of the village Tris Ekklisies (Three Churches) in Asterousia mountains in Heraklion prefecture and 67 km far from Heraklion city. Its feature is that it has a small width and rear there are the huge Asterousia Mountains.

Kakopetros beach is a small beach at the exit of a small but impressive and complitely unknown gorge. The gorge defines the southern edge of Asterousia mountains and creates a picture of striking beauty, especially when you approach this remote region by boat. 

Katarti beach is a small beach, about only 20-25 meters long and is hidden at the southern foot of the Asterousia mountains between Tripiti and Agios Ioannis Beach, about 75 km far from Heraklion Town.

Salamias Beach is located at the southern foot of the Asterousia mountains between the Tripiti and Agios Ioannis Beach, which is a coastal resort of Kapetaniana village.

The apartments "Acropol" are located in Pitsidia, one of the most beautiful villages of south Crete.

Pitsidia finds itself a couple of kilometres from Matala and Phaistos archaeological site, and about 75 kilometres from Heraklion town.

This is the sea-side area north to the village of Kalamaki (between Kommos or Commos Beach and Kokinos Pirgos), before the military airport, and is located 68km south of Heraklion.

The northern section of the Messara bay is occupied by the Katalyki or Kataliki sandy beach, which is probably one of the most pleasant beaches of the area, with its several fish tavernas, greek bars and sunbeds.

Next door neighbour to big brother Hersonissos it's quite different place. Analipsi, only a stone throw away is like another world alltogether: much more quiet and cosy, with a few taverna's and a supermarket in the beachfront and a few more down in the village itself. It is located 20km east from Heraklion City.

Although it’s officially a western suburb of Hersonissos in reality Anisarras is almost cut off from the main town. In recent years, due to it's proximity to Hersonissos tourist development has been quite heavy. Nevertheless Anissaras has retained it’s beauty and tranquillity.

In the western part of the beach of "Analipsi" there is the river mouth of "Aposelemis". The river of "Aposelemis" is a natural border dividing the Municipality of Hersonissos and the Municipality of Gouves.

Arina Beach - Kokkini Hani (Vathianos Kambos) famous Sector Beach is a main attraction for locals and tourists to use this golden long sandy beach, which have life guards on duty.

Some 29 kilometres far from Heraklion City at the East, eastern to the holidays village of Hersonissos or Limenas Hersonissou are situated these coves with sandy beaches, open to the Cretan Sea and affected by the northern winds.
